I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike.

Hi.
I have finally convinced my lazy parents to buy bicycles so they can cart me around whenever I feel like it. Let's be honest with Gas prices as high as they are, currently 4.19 a gallon, we'd all be a bit wiser to ride bikes. Also, my parents are Lazy. Did I mention that yet?

Anyhow, they bought a couple of bicycles which is great, but the cool thing is the attained, hopefully not by five-finger discount, this wonderful seat called iBert.

I can steer the ship, and SEE. It's quite exciting really. I like the wind blowing in my face. Yeah, it's great.

Here are a few pictures. You are jealous I know.

Oh, to be a Washingtonian.

As you may or may not care, I haven't posted in awhile. This is because I have moved...COUNTRIES. Okay, I shouldn't be so dramatic, but it was a pretty major move.

I like it in our new place. I get to hang out with my cousins 'osh', 'cayb' and 'gracie' and 'sida', there is a lot more room for me to run around, and well to be honest, I was getting tired of sleeping in my parents closet. What did they think? I'm frickin harry potter?

Anyhow, here are some recent pictures of, well...me.

Enjoy.

This is the house. As you can see, my parents have a lot of work to do.

This is me, beating up my mom. As you can see, I won.

This is me. In front of the house, wearing a 'futbol' uniform that my friend Ethan's parents gave me when we were in Brussels, just over a year ago. Where has the time gone?

This is me. Sitting.

Below are series of "artsy" photos my dad took. They're pretty silly really, however, they are mostly of me, so that's always good!

There is a reason why I haven't posted.

My parents are mean!

From LucaCries

It seems like I am always apologizing for not posting more photos on this thing. Well, I'm not sorry. I am a busy man, so take what you can get! Give me a cookie!

Here are some recent photos, most of which are poorly taken by dad.

Call me Humphrey.

Yes. I am REALLY playing the piano. I learned Mary Had a Little Lamb, now I am practicing a piece by Offenbach.

After practicing Piano, I like to eat cheese. I want a dink! (Yes, I know it's pronounced "Drink", but I sound cuter if I point to my mouth and say dink.)

I am riding an escalator. My dad is taking pictures of me. What a bum.

Over Easter Weekend, we went to Ellensburg to visit my cousins. It was decided that this would be a photo opportunity. I usually hate this kind of thing, so in order to get through it, I nipped the bottle a little. This is the result. It's crazy, but when I have a little drink, it inspires me to give the "Once More.." speech from Henry the 5th. That's Shakespeare for you illiterate types.

This is my friend, James.

When I ride in the car, i get restless. Ma and Pa were forced to pullover and let me run around. It was in their best interest to do so, because I can scream for 3.6 hours. I know. I timed it.

That's about it. I will have some more pictures for you shortly, plus an announcement that will blow your mind, well not really.

Snowman and Dogshow

So, it snowed like crazy last week. So much that I was able to build my first snowman on the patio, with the help of mom, pop and Anthony. Our inspiration was the A-Team.

Take a look.

This is the finsihed product. I think we did a good job.

My mom kept disappearing into the frozen tundra, and then...bam she'd show up again. It confused me briefly. Very briefly. I'm no fool.

Building a snowman takes a lot of work, and it made me hot, so I had to take off my jacket. Do you like my Cosby sweater?

Yes. I was a victim. Little did I know that Anthony would be assaulting me with snowballs. I was just admiring my work, when BAMO! I was hit with a snowball. Anthony is a jerk.
-------------------------------------------
Later in the week, my parents took me to the petstore. I THOUGHT it was so that I could see the fish, and birds, but apparently it was because they wanted to have me adopted.

So, as you can see. They put me in the box displaying me as if I were meat in a store.

But, then I realized, all of this attention was pretty awesome. Those girls are petting the dog, but they are really looking at me. Call me McLovin. (Yes, my parents let me watch Superbad. You should call them and tell them how irresponsible that is.)
---------------------------------
My dad seems to think that I want to be an Actor or something.
Well, if I was, I would use this as my headshot.

And this would be my "shirtless" shot.

I'm hungry. My parents don't feed me. Look, just look at my ribs.

What child doesn't look cut in a scarf!

What's this picture doing here? Dad you jerk. I told you to leave your silly pictures out of my blog. Only pictures of me. How dare you!

That's better.
These boots are my friend Julia's.
I like to wear them and then fall down because they are too big.

Last picture for now. I don't know if you can tell, but I'm actually holding myself up with my arms. Yes. I am that strong.
Bye for now.

Happy New Year!

It's hard to believe that it has been a month since I last posted, but to be entirely honest, I have just been really busy. I cut 5 teeth this last month, so needless to say, the Vicadin my parents have been giving me has made pretty listless, although I feel great!

Ha. I was just kidding. While I think my parents are somewhat lame, and I judge them for that, they would not do such a thing. Or would they?

Anyhow, here is a visual recap of my last month, in no particular order.

Enjoy!

p.s. stay tuned for a new site design, because this one bores me.

The Santa Claus...or Scary White Bearded Man

Hello.

I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with my parents. They insist on taking me places that I really have no interest in going to. Especially, when I am perfectly content to sit in my chair and watch TV.

Today's little adventure was a trip to the illustrious mall to see Santa Claus. I'm not sure who this Santa fellow is, however, I did see a White Bearded, Fat man in a red suit. By the long line of my peers and their parental units, I gather this who I was supposed to see. Truthfully, I was more interested in the little play group outside.

Anyhow, my dad took some photos on his new Nikon D300. (More on that in a sec) Please note: Any tears you might see in this pictures are merely an act, as I was following the lead of those kids in front me....what can I say, I'm a people pleaser.

Truthfully, I really wasn't that scared. In fact, I pretty much forgot the whole incident until just now.

As I indicated earlier, my Dad decided to burn his money on a new camera. Not just a little 200 dollar camera, but the Nikon D300. I'm not really sure why he needed this, especially since he's not any good at taking photos, and when he does he such a nuisance! Anyhow, he DID buy it, and I am suffering because of it. (I know, I know, I normally don't complain, but come on, how many photos can one man take?....390 in 2 hours, apparently)

So of course there are a myriad of photos, most of which deserve to be my cat's kitty litter, but still I think a couple of them turned out. Even if they didn't, it's not like there won't be 4000 more in the next two weeks.

This photo is in Black and White, because it's Artistic. At least that's what he tells me.

This is picture of me asking for a cookie.

This is another picture of me asking for a cookie. Do I have a cookie in my hand? NO! Because my dad is taking pictures! What a jerk.

This is a picture of me giving dad a look asking him to stop. also, I think he over saturated this photo, either that or I over saturated my diaper. Not sure which.

Here's another photo of me standing on the Window Sill, ABOVE the lit fireplace. "Yeah! my dad really cares about me" Am I sounding too sarcastic today?

Just to change gears, here's another photo of me, in the Bath, getting clean, without a cookie in my hand!

From Luca and the ...

Okay, this is the last photo of me. Yes I know I have stuff on my face, but still, even I have to admit, it's pretty darn cute!

Thanks for reading. I'll try to post more over the holidays!

Feliz Cumpleanos!

-The Luca

P.S. I put a video of me riding the roomba on You Tube to see if I can pick up chicks.
P.P.S. It didn't work.

Some Updates

Hello There.

Now that I am ONE, I seem to have much more of a social life, so I will continue to be remiss in updating my blog.

But for now, here are a few photos from the past few weeks.

Yes, thank you very much. I am adorable.

Happy Birthday to Me!

So, I turn One today!

The big UNO. I would say that I have lived a pretty incredible life so far. I'll give you a recap, in no particular order.

First of all, I was born. So that was exciting. Secondly, I have just as many stamps in my passport as my parents. They are so lame, and I am so cool.

Thirdly, I HAVE a passport. Although, not a Canadian one yet, because my parents are lame.

Fourthly, I can apparently count to four, even though I really don't speak in a language you adults would understand.

I have learned how to wave goodbye, tell ma and pa that I WANT something, and know how to specifically ask for a cracker or a cookie, or pretty much anything they decided to give me I make this one gesture with my hands.

I know what HANDS are.

I am pretty sure I know how to drive, considering I have spent the better part of 7 months riding in the car.

I got my first two teeth while flying on airplane to London. I didn't cry, although it hurt pretty badly.

I am tough.

I took my first steps at around 9 months, and really figured out this whole walking thing about a month later. Then, a month after that, I was busted alongside marion jones and barry bonds, although he won't admit it, for taking steroids.

I know what steroids are, apparently.

I learned how to surf the internet, and "googled" myself, which came with this site
http://www.jaredvallejo.com/blog/mywordsbydate.asp?lild=10/11/2006

Apparently, my dad could not contain his emotions, when I decided to join the work force. What a goofball.

I realize there is quite a bit missing from this list, but I feel it would be a waste of your time to read anymore of my thoughts, and well, I'm lazy.

I do look forward to what the next year will bring, especially for things like TEETH, and WORDS, and ELECTION YEAR. Stuff like that.

Anyhow, I just wanted to say thanks to all my peeps that supported me thus far...keep it coming...in 10's and 20's, unmarked, non-sequential preferred.

Below are a few pictures from my "pre-birthday" party, held at my cousin's house in Ellensburg, where I was born a year ago today. My parents don't really know how to tell time or how to look at a calendar, but I had a good time none the less.

Mystery Person - I need pictures.

Hello.

This blog post is for the mystery person in this photo. You know who you are, and why I had to pixelate your face.

Why do you make me do such things, mystery person? Why? I am all but 11.5 months old, and yet you insist on making me resort to such negative tactics.

All you have to do is upload, email or otherwise send electronically some pictures of me at the eiffel tower. That's it, and then, the pixelation will be removed.

I wait and hope desperately, mystery person, that you will accommodate my simple wish.

I am a Bull Rider

So, I think I want to be a bull rider when I grow up.

From what I understand, 6 seconds is the magic number. If I can last 6 seconds, then I think I can become champion of the world.

Unfortunately, I don't have a bull to practice on, but I do have my friend Roomba. Roomba, if you don't her, is my mom's favorite vacuum, and my second best friend, next to my cat. Whenever, I throw my crackers on the ground, Roomba is there to pick it up. It's quite sweet actually. I think she fancies me.

Anyhow, here is my first attempt at bull riding Roomba. (Nevermind the TV in the background, my mother likes that arrested development show, so she listens to it really loudly)

Luca Rides The Roomba

So, I didn't make it on my first try, but after a few more attempts, I think I have this bull riding thing down.

How to Eat!

I have put together a little video of how my parents like to feed me. I was a bit resistant at first, but then I realized how "freeing" eating like this.

I would propose that we all should consume our food this way.

Bon Appetit!

A Very Quick Post...

Dad took pictures of me in the pool.

He's too lazy to actually fill it with water.

I think I'll cry tonight at 3:00 am in order to teach him a lesson.

I bought the iPhone and it tastes Great!

Ha! Gotcha.

I didn't buy the iPhone. The fact is, I'm just barely learning how to use this "pincer grasp" technique, so how do you think I'd be able to dial? Although, I guess it is a touch screen, and I'm really good at just poking things with my finger.

Maybe I should have gotten it....nah, who likes to wait in lines.

So, as 3 of you may know, Sunday the 1st of July was Canada day. Ma and Pa chaeuferred me to this festival, where performers, and water fountains, and food.

Below is a picture showing you exactly how much fun I had.

It was actually pretty fun, except for when my cool cousins were eating ice-cream, and I couldn't have any. I let them know how I felt, and as you can see, they didn't like my harsh criticism.

I'm really not that mean.

Stay tuned for the next post, where I tell you all about my first swim!

Cheerios - Only for the Good babies!

So, my dad was taunting me today, despite being on my best behavior, with cheerios. He put them just out of my reach, so I had to stretch and streeeetch to get at them....which I did, because I'm cool like that. Anyhow, it was quite rude of him I thought. He took a picture of me...although I look happy, I was quite displeased with him.

Below is proof that he was taunting me. Pay attention to my awesome rhythms and gangsta rap poses. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it.

More later.

My Mom and Me

The wonderful thing about a being a "good baby", is that people want to carry you everywhere. They do this willingly and without hesitation.

Take a look at this picture below, from my recent trip to Brugges, Belgium. Quite a fascinating little place actually. I may go back someday.

Anyhow, notice how I am being held. My female parental unit is smiling about this. I am smiling too, because that is what good babies do.

My Friend Sonia

When I traveled to Brussels in May, among all of the great things I did and saw, I managed to make a friend or two along the way. One such person was, Sonia S.

I was just relaxing in this swing like contraption, when she came up behind me and started rocking me back and forth. At first I was a little thrown off by it, but then, I realized how fun it was.

Sorry about the quality of the pictures, my male parental unit doesn't really know what the "H" "E" "double hockey sticks", he is doing.

Out of this encounter, I made a friend for life. Sure, there are skeptics out there who say I will not remember her the next time I see her...hogwash, I say. hogwash.

What's a hogwash?

Anyhow, here are the pictures.

P.S. I met her older brother Ethan S. too, he's a pretty cool dude and I'll show you some pictures in my next post.

Welcome to MY site.

Now that I have been on this earth the better part of 8 months, I thought it was time I impart my advice to others, whether it is warranted or not.

I think you'll find my clarity of thought and sage wisdom to be refreshing.

In the coming days, I will be summarizing my recent exploratory trip to Europe, as well as displaying a series of self portraits, which I think any grandmother would be proud of.

Thanks for stopping by.
