Can you say...Residual Check?
You see, she mentioned me, ME, on GMA today and then proceeded to show the clip of me riding the roomba. Remember my post from last year? http://www.theluca.com/2007/09/i-am-bull-rider_23.html
Anyhow, in order to provide further evidence I have taken a screenshot, and here is the link to their site. http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/ You'll probably have to search for roomba.
As you can see, I am on there, and to be quite honest, I look good! I don't like to brag, especially since I don't know what bragging means, but my bald head and smile works nicely. It's really too bad the roomba died. My mom likes to say that I broke it because I got too heavy, however I know the truth. It was overused. Simple as that.
So, I suppose I should wait for William Morris, or Creative Artists Agency to contact me? Or maybe I should be proactive and contact them? Nah, I'd rather throw food on the floor and then laugh as I watch dad pick it up. ...he's my slave.
Thanks to the person, E, that contacted my dad. Now I can tell all my daycare friends how awesome I am.

Thank you, America,
I couldn't vote, because I am 2 years old, so I thank you for helping to ensure that there is an America for me to live in, now and in the future. I think my parents were considering moving north again if Barack Obama wasn't elected, so I'm glad to stay.
Anyhow, I'm fairly sure I witnessed history tonight. Well, I'm guessing that's why I was clapping along with my Mom and Dad a little earlier, while watching Charlie Gibson announce Barack Obama as our next president.
Now, where's my milk?

Thank you for my presents.
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who sent me birthday gifts. (JoJo, Rachelle, Pop, Grandma Judy, Papa Fuzzy, Melanie, Barack Obama - well hopefully the gift of affordable healthcare if he is elected)
You really shouldn't have, especially because I sometimes lose impulse control and tend to throw things...at my dad's head. He doesn't really like it, but what the heck. I'm only 2!
This is a picture of me sporting a new outfit courtesy of Jane, David, Baz & Mars. I rather like it. It's comfortable and was made in Vancouver, BC. Thanks Guys!
Hmm, what else? Oh yeah, no more gifts please, however if you are so inclined, go here instead:

That's all for now.

McDonald's for my Birthday, Really?
Well, as you might have guessed by this post. It's my Birthday. Yep, I'm two years old today. And you know how my dad decides to celebrate? He takes me to McDonald's, in the drive-thru no less. Wow. Thanks pops. Although, now that I think of it, I do like their pancakes.
I have done a lot this year. I learned to speak Thai. I ate cheerios, out of a bowl, on the floor, and in between the couch cushions. I have had my hair cut. I watched fireworks and played with children I didn't know. I have learned the alphabet, in both sign language and regular language, English I think it's called. I have learned that it's ironic for me to type these blogs, but not know that it is English that I am typing. I made friends with a boy named Lukas who was born a couple of days before, or after me. I can't remember. I went to the rodeo. I watched Barack Obama give a historical speech in Denver, accepting the nomination for President of the United States. (As a side note, he's doing quite well and hopefully on November 4th, he'll be the new President, so go Vote, because I can't.)
I have done a lot.
But probably the best thing that I have done this year happened today, my birthday.
I got strep throat!
Yep, you heard me, or read it rather. I have been sick as dog for the last few days. I lost my voice because my parents let me scream all night last night. I wasn't really in pain, it's just that they were sleeping and I couldn't, so I figured why let them? We're supposed to be a family right? I finally, finally was able to sleep for a few hours this afternoon. It probably has something to do with the fact that I wasn't given uppers by the folks. Can you believe they didn't know that Tylenol Cold, contains sudafed, which for someone like me keeps me up! Silly parents, trix are for kids.
Actually, I probably don't have strep throat. The doctor said it's likely a virus that will go away in a couple of days. I have my doubts, cause my throat hurts like H E double hockey sticks. Anyhow, he'll call tomorrow with the results. In the meantime, I'll dink milk and wawa and joos until I feel better.
On a related note, my parents set me up as a team leader over at Kiva. So if you decide you want to get me something for my birthday or Christmas or memorial day, go here and help out someone that needs it instead. Apparently, they set this up so that I would learn the importance of giving. I'm like, I'm only TWO and I really want a new iPod. But still I think this is kind of cool.

Anyhow, I'm off to have some soup and about 15 popsicles.

I'm being kicked out.
Well. I don't know what to say. My parents are kicking me out of my own house. I am being sent to a place where there are other kids, infants if you will, that are my height, my age, my general appearance. I would say intelligence, but I highly doubt that. I mean, do those kids know all the letters of the alphabet?
Boy, I sound a little arrogant don't I? I guess it's because I am a little scared to go to this Daycare for the first time. I should have known something was up when Dad made me eggs and panncakecakes for breakfast and then Mom gave me candy shortly thereafter. Or all the hugs and kisses I was receiving. (Actually, they were making me rub noses and give kisses to them) To be honest, I think they were having a hard time with it. My dad was fake crying, which just made me laugh because he looks like such an idiot, and well Mom, she pretty much cries when she sees a car commercial.
So today was my first day there, and I have to admit it was pretty fun. In fact I didn't even notice ma and pa had left. I immediately spotted this fantastic blue plastic thingy over by some kids and knew this was the place for me. Although, I have a feeling these people probably won't let me watch "wolf" or "clifford" or "train" as much as my parents, but that's okay, TV rots the brain.

Training, to beat my competitiion
You know, a few weeks ago I was watching the Olympics, and I realized that I want to be an Olympian, so I thought to myself, how soon should I begin training? I mean the gold medalists start at 1.75 years old, right, so why shouldn't I?
Today is my first day on that path.
Oh, and in case you are wondering, I am training to be a badminton champion, as there is no finer sport!

My First Rodeo
So, I went to the Ellensburg Rodeo this last weekend. It was AWESOME! I mean all of the horses and popcorn and ice. Really incredible. I loved watching the big coow's buck the men off.
This picture here makes me want to be a cowboy. Forget what I said about being a singer in my last post. Now, I am really going to be a bull rider!
